The Greenstar condensing system range reach an annual efficiency is over 90%, compared with a non-condensing boiler that can only achieve 78%, thus reducing significantly hot water and heating bills. Whenever there is a demand for hot water or heating the electronic control system is energised and the burner ignites via a flame ionisation system. As the flue gases pass through the heat exchanger the extra large surface area on the heat exchanger can cool the flue gases to around 55°C and the latent heat, lost otherwise, is released and applied to the system. The system range is compatible with solar thermal panels, allowing the chance of upgrading to an energy-saving and environmental system.
